Neutral DeFi Risk Intelligence Aggregator
An open source web application that aggregates DeFi risk intelligence from every major feed into a single neutral view, presenting ratings verbatim and producing no synthesis or composite scoring of its own. At launch the project covers the top 20 Ethereum DeFi protocols by TVL, ships an open and community-correctable data layer, and is handed off to a named long-term steward.

Ecosystem Need
DeFi risk intelligence exists but is fragmented. Before deploying capital, users from retail participants to institutional asset managers navigate dozens of dashboards, rating services, and providers (BlockAnalitica, DeFiScan, DeFiPunk'd, CuratorWatch, Pharos, Credora, and others), each with its own focus and methodology. No neutral layer aggregates these feeds in one place. The right mental model is oracle diversity. No single feed should be canonical for something this important, and the aggregation is itself the value. The aim is a single trusted reference for what every feed says about a protocol, presented verbatim, with coverage gaps treated as data rather than smoothed away by a composite score. The need was validated through EF App Relations sessions with 70+ DeFi protocol teams at EthCC 2026 and remote conversations through the year. A unified neutral risk reference was one of the most consistently raised gaps.
Hard Requirements
- Open source. Developed in the open on a public GitHub repository from the start of the engagement. - Ethereum-native. Primary focus on Ethereum mainnet protocols. Cross-chain out of scope for v1. - No composite scoring. Project must not produce its own risk scores or composite assessments. Feed ratings shown verbatim only. Any future addition requires written agreement from EF and must be documented in a project charter committed to the repository. - Neutral positioning. No undisclosed commercial relationships with listed protocols or feed providers. All conflicts declared. - Top 20 coverage. All 20 seed protocols populated at launch. - Live TVL, or equivalent volume metric where TVL is not applicable. - Named steward. A specific individual or organization with public presence and long-term incentive to maintain the project, confirmed in writing before final payment. - Team track record. At least one team member with shipped production DeFi tooling or data infrastructure.
Soft Requirements
- Active relationships with listed feed providers that could accelerate data quality or automation. - Feed coverage automated where providers expose data publicly, rather than manually curated. - Governance data sourced from onchain or verifiable sources rather than solely self-reported. - Legible, data-dense interface in the spirit of L2Beat, Walletbeat, or DeFiScan. - Prior contributions to Ethereum public goods, open source tooling, or ecosystem infrastructure.
